Majka's Story
Originally born in Czechlosovakia, Majka and her husband moved to California in 1970. Prior to settling in Shingletown, they spent every summer in the area, drawn to its natural beauty and fresh mountain air. They have since made Shingletown their home, and have been integral parts of their community for the past forty years. They are beloved by their friends and family for their kind and generous nature, and are an inspiration to all who know them.
